About
I originally started this blog almost a year ago, it has gone through many changes and levels of seriousness. I will posting old posts that I feel are relevant from time to time, and I will certainly let you know that it is such. I love the idea of blogging because it doesn’t just allow you to share your opinions, its forces you back up what you say. In normal converstaion you can spit out whatever data you want, twist the context of others, manipulate real data, etc. On a blog, not backing up what you say and believe is pointless and noticeable, more noticeable than a regular verbal debate/conversation.
There isn’t much to know about me. My full name is Andrew Michael Barnes and hail from the capital of the Carolinas: Charlotte, NC. I’m currently a senior at the Univ. of Charlotte, hopefully graduating this May with a B.S. in Geography and specializing in GIS. I lean fairly conservative, but that doesn’t mean I agree with every conservative that walks out the door or for that matter disagree with every liberal thought or person. I can’t fail to mention that I am a practicing Christian and attending Elevation Church.
Of course that isn’t all there is to know about me, but it’s a good start.
